Licensed Funeral Directors

Pennsylvania and New York -- Benjamin R. Olney began his career in funeral service in May of 1987 at the Koch-Wetmore Funeral Home in Ulysses while he was a college student at Mansfield University.  He went on to graduate from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in Syracuse, NY.  In 1990, he purchased the funeral home and is now the longest serving funeral director in Ulysses.  He is licensed in Pennsylvania and New York.  In 1992, he married the former Sheila Erway.  They have two children, Aaron and Joy. 

Pennsylvania--Dale R. Howell began working at the funeral home in August of 2003 and graduated from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service in 2004.  He obtained his funeral directors license in 2005.  A United States Air Force Veteran, Dale is employed as a firefighter at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. 

New York --  Dylan P. Foust began his career in funeral service at Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service in May of 2014. Dylan graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and began working full-time in February of 2018 at Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home in Wellsville, where he resides. He obtained his New York funeral directors license in 2019. Dylan is currently serving his Pennsylvania Internship. He is also a Certified Crematory Operator.

New York -- Ted E. Crowell A graduate of Rushford High School and Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, Ted E. Crowell served honorably with the US Army in the Korean War.  In 1961, he married the former Marjorie Cameron.  They have four daughters and five grandchildren.  Ted has served the Wellsville area as a Funeral Director since 1962.  He has been active in numerous civic and community organizations and serves as an Allegany County Coroner.

Non-Licensed Staff

Rosalind S. Eastman began as a funeral home musician in July of 1961 and joined the staff in May of 1995. 

Philip M. Ford began working at the funeral home in May of 2013.  He served honorably with the Unites States Marine Corps for 26 years. 

Robert D. Willetts began working at the funeral home in December of 2018.
